HONEY CHICKEN
Honey chicken
This is a chinese based recipe.my kids love this chicken and it is an ideal dish for the people who doesn't eat much chillies.Do try this at home you'll be praised by your family members.I assure you that.
Ingredients:
To marinate:
Chicken wings-4 pieces
Redchilly flakes-1 tsp
Cornflour-1tbsp
Honey-1/2 tsp
Soy sauce-1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Marinate all the above given ing. For 10mins.
Heat oil and fry the chicken till crisp and golden brown.
For glaze:
Onion-1,diced
Capsicum-1/2 diced
Gingerpaste-1 tsp
Garlic chopped-1 pod
Soy sauce-1 tsp
Freshly crushed pepper-1/2 tsp
Sugar-1 tsp
Red chilly sauce-1/2 tsp
Oil-1tbsp
Salt to taste
coriender leaves to garnish
Method:
In a wok add oil heat a whlie add onions and capsicum toss well till onion become translucent,add the rem. ing. toss well add the fried chicken wings stir till it coats well and garnish with coriander leaves,

CRISPY BRINJALS
Crispy Brinjals
In all parts of the world people eat aubergines(brinjals).we get in different shapes and size.It has an unique taste.i have tried a different version of aubergines that would taste like crispy chicken.It is a good choice for veggies they would definetly love it.............my kids love it tooo.......... itsvery simple to make and tastes delicious.
Ingredients:
Big sized brinjals-10 pieces,sliced
Red chilly powder-1tbsp
Indian garam masala powder*-1tsp
pepper powder-1tsp
gram flour-2tbsp
corn flour-1tbsp
salt to taste
corn flakes crushed-1cup
oil for frying
Method:
In a bowl mix brinjals,red chilly powder,garam masala,pepper powder,gram flour,corn flour,salt with some water or oil and marinade for 5 mins.spread crushed cornflakes in a plate and coat over aubergines on all sides and fry in hot oil till golden crisp....
*-indian garam masala is a mixture of all spices cinnamon,cardamom,cloves,star anise ground to a fine powder.

EGG AND SAUSAGE PIE
Egg and sausage pie
Being an indian we dont make pies.Just make curries or any stuffing and we fill in dosas,samosas or in any kind of indian food.I love to eat pies when i watch it on TV.In a TV show, I saw a person making hard boiled egg pie and got inspiration to try one.I also have the experience of making pie from my friend blogger gayathri's eggless baking challenge.So I tried this recipe yesterday and gave it to my family and friends.They enjoyed it a lot and finished it off in a fraction of seconds.I just had got a single piece to taste it.mmmmm it tasted so yummy and i appreciated myself for my job.Here is the recipe for my viewers and just have a try,u'll get good results.
Ingredients:
for the base:
flour-11/2 cups
salt-1 tsp
butter-3/4 cups
water and milk -3/4 cups
In a saucepan heat water and milk u can measure it as 1:1 proportion add butter boil them.
In a bowl add flour and make a well in centre and pour the hot milk mixture and stir it with fork combine them well and knead by hand till it rolls like a ball.Cover with a kitchen towel and rest them for 5 mins.Meanwhile we can prepare the filling and bechamel sauce.It is nothing but white sauce.
Bechamel sauce(White sauce):
butter-1 tbsp
maida-1 tbsp
milk-1 cup
dry rosemary-1/2 tsp
cheddar cheese-2 tbsp
salt and pepper to season
Method:
In a saucepan add butter and maida stir well till butter and maida combines well and maida cooks well,but the color should not change.Now remove from fire add milk stir till no lumps form and cook in slow flame till it makes a paste not too watery and not too thick.Stir in rosemary and cheese do seasoning.caution cheese also has salt.cool them.
Eggs and sausage filling:
Eggs-2
sausages-2,sliced
salt and pepper to taste
Hard boiled eggs-2
Boil in hot water with salt for 5 mins and rest them for a while and remove the shell cut into four quaters and season with salt and crushed fresh pepper.
In a pan add 1tsp oil and add sliced sausages and toss well with salt and crushed pepper.
Egg wash:
Egg-1,slightly beaten with water
For Baking:
preheat oven to 210 degrees.
Divide the dough in 2 parts and Roll one part of the dough in 1/2 inch thick fill the dough adjust to the pie plate and trim off the extras place quartered Eggs and sausages pour the bechamel sauce to fill the pie and roll another part of the dough and cut into strips close the pie like weaving a basket or according to your idea.Brush eggwash on pie.Bake at 210 degrees for 45 mins or according to your oven .

FRIED HARDBOILED EGG
Fried Hard Boiled Egg
It is a simple dish but goes well with sambar .My mom taught me this recipe and i loved it.we can't eat just one, it will kindle our taste buds to eat more.You can adjust chilly powder according to yur taste.You can make sandwich by stuffing this fried egg in bread.
Ingredients:
Hard boiled eggs-4,halved
red chillly powder-2 tsp
oil-3 tbsp
salt to taste
garam masala powder-1 tsp
cumin seeds-1 tsp,coarsely grind
pepper powder-1 tsp,coarsely grind
Method:
Boil water in a pan add some salt and whole eggs into the water.Boil Eggs for just 10 mins in high flame and switch off gas,rest them in hot water for 10 more mins.cool them and remove shell.cut lengthwise.
In a kadai add oil red chilly powder,garam masala,salt,ground cumin and pepper mix well and place eggs on the paste upside down and put on the gas fry in low flame for 2mins and flip them and cook for 2mins do the same for 10 mins or till it gets brown on both sides.set in a plate and sprinkle coriender leaves and serve hot.
