MINCED MUTTON GRAVY




                                Minced mutton gravy



This curry recipe is suitable for all age groups who has strong teeth and also has weak one...........The minced meat used in this recipe is so tender as it cooks in pressure cooker with all flavours combined in it.As It is minced it cooked well.The meat cooked in tomato puree with spices added to it.Can have with rice,roti,naan,kuboos anything even we can have it with bread.

INGREDIENTS:

Minced mutton-1/2 kg
Tomato-3,big
Onion-1cup chopped
Spice powder combined with cinnamon,cloves,cardamom,javithri-1 tsp
Ginger-garlic paste-1 tsp
Red chilly powder-1tbsp
(it'll be a bit spicy you can reduce the amount as needed)
Coriender powder- 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
Ghee/Oil- 2 tbsp
(If you add ghee it will tenderize the meat and enhance its flavour)
Cumin powder- 1/4 tsp
Mustard seeds- 1 tsp
Curry leaves-1strip(5-6 leaves)
Salt to taste
Coconut milk-1/2 cup(optional)

METHOD:

            

          Blance tomato and remove the skin then grind it into a fine puree.
                In a pressure cooker heat ghee add mustard to splutter add curry leaves,chopped onion saute a while add in ginger-garlic paste.When raw smell dissappears add cleaned minced mutton saute till its color changes add red chilly powder,coriender powder,spice powder,turmeric powder toss well add tomato puree and coconut milk if needed add salt to taste close lid and cook in pressure cooker for 4 whistles and when stem releases transfer them into a bowl and serve hot...........

Hi friends!

It's time to have a nice and yummy smoothie.Smoothies are nothing but a thick drink and a good supplement for breakfast to maintain diet.My smoothie recipe is a healthy one containing natural ingredients tats good for kids from old people.Even diabetics can have this smoothie becoz it contains only honey as a sweetening agent...............I'm posting this recipe for shhh secret challenge by priya.I'm doing this with my friend srividhya and we are pairing for the second time.She gave me strawberry and oats.


Ingredients:

Strawberry-1/2 cup

Oats-2 tbsp

Chilled Milk-11/2 cup

Honey- 2 tbsp

Banana-1 big

Walnuts- 1 tbsp

 Strawberry crush to decorate

Method:

The recipe is so simple.Just blend all the above except strawberry crush.Decorate the tall glass with crush by spooning them on sides and pour the blended smoothie into the glass and enjoyyy the yummy smoothie.......

 The dish that we today call pizza has a long and interesting history. From its origins in the time immemorial, to the 16th century resurrection, all up to modern time world recognition, this article will try to describe all the major events which defined the pizza and gave it the popularity that it has today.

The modern pizza that we all known and eat today comes from the minds of Italian cooks. Here you can find the timeline of all major points in the history of this interesting dish, and the journey that his meal made from the ruins of Roman Empire to every corner of our world. People think pizzas are unhealthy and it may cause harm to our digestive system becoz it contains maida. How to make pizzas healthy? I prepared pizza in wheat flour and used corn niblets, greens and calcium rich cheese…I prepared this pizza for my younger daughter's healthy chef event held in her school.kids,parents and teachers enjoyed the pizza and praised me for the yummy pizza.She has got prize for the pizza.......!!!!!!!!

 Audax Artifex suggested in http://thedaringkitchen.com/ to make pizzas from freezer.Make the filling from leftover things from our kitchen.

INGREDIENTS:
For the base:
Maida/Wheat flour-1 cup 
Sugar-1 tbsp
Salt-1 tsp
Dry yeast-2 tsp
Warm milk or water-1/2 cup
Herbed oil-2 tsp(combine olive oil, dried oregano, red chilly flakes, dried basil, salt to taste, garlic minced)


Method:
  •          In a bowl add warm water, sugar and salt stir to dissolve. Sprinkle dry yeast over it and leave in a hot place undisturbed for proving.

  • In a paddle attached blender and add the yeast mixture mix well and add flour slowly to mix well. Knead the dough for atleast 10 minutes  till it rolls like a ball without sticking the sides.
·      Leave them for 2 hrs covered with a dry cloth or cling film until it doubles.
Preheat oven to 180 °c.
·      After 2 hours flour the surface with maida and knead the dough till soft and elastic.
·      Divide them into 2 and roll each into 2” thick round disc. Prick them as they won’t rise up.Brush herbed oil on top and bake them for 10-12 minutes.
·      It yields 2 pizzas.
For Topping:

Onion-1,cubed


Capsicum-1/2 cup (use all colours)

Corn niblets-2 tbsp, boiled

Spinach-2 tbsp, blanched

 paneer-1/2 cup


Mozzarella cheese-1/2 cup

Pizza sauce or tomato sauce-3 tbsp

To Assemble:


Place a pizza base in an oven proof plate and coat pizza sauce or tomato sauce. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese to  cover  the whole area and arrange the toppings decoratively. Bake for another 5 mins till the cheese melts…..Enjoy the yummy pizza with your kids….!!!!!

NOTE:You can use any kind of topping you need. I tried sausage topping too………
