PUMPKIN AND SPROUTS DAL

     It is an easy curry can be made to accompany rice or roti.You can make this curry with leftover veg's in your fridge.Just cut them in cubes and boil with some water and salt and the same masalas and the veg curry is ready.Enjoyy this dish.............


Grind coarsely:

Coriander seeds-1 tbsp

Green cardamom-2 nos


Jeera-11/2 tsp

Ingredients:

Jeera-1 tsp

Onion-2 sliced

Red pumpkin-1/2 cup

Moong sprouts-1/2 cup

Red chilly powder-2 tsp

Garam masala-1 tsp

Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp

Ginger paste-1/2 tsp

Garlic paste - 1 tsp

Tomato-1 finely chopped

Tomato puree-1 tbsp

Coriender leaves-2 strips

Oil-1tbsp

Salt to taste

Method:

                                           In a pressure cooker  heat oil add jeera,ground masala saute well add onion fry till translucent add red pumpkin and moong sprouts fry well and red chilly powder,garam masala,turmeric powder,ginger garlic paste saute well add tomatoes,tomato puree mix well add 2 cups water,salt close lid boil till 3 whistles and mash with laddle sprinkle  coriander leaves on top  and serve hot with roti/naan.

TANGY CHICKEN

                           

 Tangy chicken 

It is an indian chicken recipe with italian herbs it is a good combination of spices and makes a good taste.It tastes really well and my kids love it a lot.Every kid would love it do try this recipe.

chicken legs-4 pieces (slit)

To marinate:

soy sauce- 1tsp

 orange juice-1 tbsp

orange zest-1/4tsp

red chilly powder-2 tsp
garam masala-11/2tsp
ginger paste-1tsp
garlic paste-1tsp
kashmiri chilly pr-11/2tsp
mixed herbs-1/4 tsp
pepper powder-1tsp
butter-2tbsp
oil-2 tbsp
chat masala-11/2tsp

Method:

In a bowl add above ing for marination mix well.coat well on chicken legs and keep aside for 1/2 an hour.In a non-stick pan heat 1 tbsp oil arrange chicken legs braise for 2 mins on both sides.place on a baking tray brush with butter and bake on a pre heated oven in 200 degree for 8-10 mins till it turns brown or fry them in the same braise pan with little more oil....remove and sprinkle chat masala on top and serve hot.
