CHEESY CHEESE BALLS


Cheesy cheese balls

cheese.........kids love it a lot.....!!!!! These cheese balls are soo cheesy filled with yummy cheese and chewy mozarella inside.Cheese is nutritious with calcium,protein and phosphorous.It is good for gums,heart diseases etc,......

It is a yummy dish with some spice and chewy mozarellla inside.I made this for my 5 ingredient fix challenge.This time I haven't gave any ingredients specifically but have to make a fry or fritter use with only 5 ingredients.As usual the plate became empty when these fries are out of oil...............

Ingredients:

Cottage cheese(paneer)-1 cup 

 green chilly-3 nos  

Coriender leaves-1/4 cup  

Mozarella cheese-1/2 cup(cut into small cubes) Keep in fridge till use

Bread crumbs

Salt to taste 

Oil to fry


Method:

Grind green chillies and coriender leaves to a fine paste.In a bowl crumble cottage cheese(paneer) add ground spice and salt mash well.Make small balls and press with thumb in middle just stuff a mozarella cube inside and close them roll tight balls.In a plate spread bread crumbs and heat oil in a pan.Roll the balls in bread crumbs coat all sides completely and fry them at low heat.

NOTE:

  • Be careful while stuffing mozarella cubes,close fully with paneer mix.
  • If the oil is not much hot,the cheese stuffed inside may pop out.

TOMATO -CARROT SOUP WITH FRIED GARLIC



I have a Tomato soup recipe before on my blog but this recipe is an unique recipe with boiled Tomato and carrot and fried garlic.Mmmmm................ the soup is so yummy and delicious.I really love the texture and taste of the soup Hope you all also will love it.....................



I made this soup for my 5 INGREDIENT FIX CHALLENGE.This month I've given 

  • BUTTER
  • ONION
  • TOMATO
  • CARROT and
  • HERB

My recipe "Tomato-carrot soup with fried garlic" follows try it and enjoy friends..............

Ingredients:

Butter-1 tbsp  

onion-1 tbsp  

 garlic-1 tsp  

Tomato-1 cup  

carrot-1 big 

 cumin seeds-1/2 tsp  

peppercorns-1 tsp 

mintleaves-4-5   

basil fresh-4-5 leaves or dried basil-1 tbsp  

salt to taste  

Kashmiri chilly powder- 1/2 tsp 

Method:

In a microwave bowl heat water in high for 2 mins then add Tomato,Carrot,Onion,mint leaves and boil them for another 3 mins. Cool them and peel the skin from Tomato and carrot put in a blender add rest of the ingredients and grind well.

In a pan or microwave bowl add butter heat till it melts add garlic fry till golden brown or microwave for 2 mins.Add the ground soup boil for 3-4 mins and serve hot..........!!!!!!!!!!!!!

STRAWBERRY AND CHOCOLATE DELIGHT TART




                    Strawberry and  chocolate delight tart

                      This is my 3rd post for our 5 Ingredient fix challenge in my blog.I feel so happy to do this post and thank my fellow bloggers and non-bloggers who are the part of this challenge and their support to this challenge.

                   This time my elder daughter and my friend suggested the ingredients for the challenge.The 5 ingredients are:

  1. STRAWBERRY OR ANY KIND OF BERRY
  1. CHOCOLATE
  1. CREAM
  1. HONEY
  1. WALNUTS

                       Have to prepare a cold dessert for ex; an Icecream,mousse etc......not a juice or smoothie and dedicate it to your kid to celebrate their summer holiday.

                               I don't get an idea what to make,I take off all the ingredients needed for the challenge from the fridge.Suddenly my recipe ferrore rocher tart came into my mind,Why not to make a tart filled with fruits and chocolates and this time I give the variation of making the base without flour and baking but with crushed darkfantasy biscuits.My younger daughter helped me to make this recipe.A yummy and delicious tart recipe follows for you.......

Chocolate mousse:

Ingredients:

Chocolate-100 gms,chopped  

Cream-100 gms 

 agar agar jelly-1 tsp melted in 1/4 cup hot water

Method:

             Heat cream and add to chopped chocolates stir well till it dissolves,cool them.Add the melted agar agar jelly to the mixture just before assembling.

filling

Strawberry-Honey jam filling:

Ingredients:

Strawberry-3/4 cup    

Honey-1 tbsp  

Demerara sugar-2 tbsp to 1/4 cup  

Crushed walnuts-2 tbsp 

Method:

         Mix all the ingredients in a pan and cook them till it form like a jam consistency.

Strawberry marmalade:

Ingredients:

Strawberry-1/2 cup  

strawberry marmalade

sugar-2 tbsp 

 orange juice-2 tbsp


Method:

Mix strawberry,orange juice and sugar boil for 5-10 mins,but the strawberry should not over cook.


Tart Base:  

Ingredients:

Dark fantasy choco fill  biscuits-500 gms(remove chocolate cream from the biscuit and crush them to a fine powder)    

 Butter(melted)-2-4 tbsp 

vanilla essence-few drops  

cocoa powder-1 tbsp  

vanilla sugar/sugar powder-2 tbsp


Method:

                                Mix together crushed biscuits,vanilla essence,cocoa powder,sugar powder add melted butter slowly from 2 tbsp to 4 tbsp to form like a dough.  Take a round spring form tin(to remove the tart easily) fill the dough in the base and press down the sides with a round shape box to make a bowl shape.Set in freezer for 1-2 hrs.

                                       Remove from fridge fill one layer of strawberry-honey jam filling then mix agar-agar jelly into the chocolate mousse and pour over the base.Set them in fridge for 1 hr and gently release belt and remove the spring form rim and decorate with whipped cream on sides and arrange fruits.Fill strawberry marmalade in centre and sprinkle walnuts and chocolates shavings on top.

PUMPKIN AND LENTIL GREEN SOUP





 
               

Pumpkin and lentil green soup

This is my recipe for our 5 INGREDIENT FIX CHALLENGE.I've given 5 healthy ingredients this time to make a healthy soup.The 5 ingredients are:


             I know these ing. can be converted into a soup but doubted whether it'll be delicious or not?I made it with red pumpkin,amaranthus tritis ha ha ha..... don't afraid of this name its our arai keerai(green leafy vegetable),Homemade veg stock,olive oil and masoor dal.

             The soup was soooo yummy and delicious.I had fun in making this soup.My family members loved this soup.

Ingredients:

Red pumpkin(cubed)-1 cup  

 Arai keerai-1/4 cup  

Homemade stock-2 cups  

masoor dal-2 tbsp 

 galic-2 pods

  onion-1/4 cup  

cumin seeds-1 tsp 

 pepper corns-1 tbsp  

olive oil-1tbsp 

cream 1 tbsp 

salt to taste

 pepper powder-needed

method:

               In a pan add olive oil when its slightly heats up add garlic,onion saute a little add pumpkin toss well add cumin seeds,masoor dal and pepper corns.Now add in vegetable stock,salt add 2 more cups of water boil till the pumpkin mashes and dal cooks well and cool them..

           In another pan add water and salt boil well switch off the stove add in araikeerai for 5 mins and strain them now add to the pumpkin mixture grind to a fine puree.Now pour in the same pan and heat again for a while can adjust the soup consistency with water add salt to taste sprinkle pepper powder and decorate with cream and serve hot..........

CARAMELIZED PEAR WITH CREAM AND NUTS PARLINE

                               This is my first recipe post for my 5ingredient fix challenge. When i planned to start this challenge I feared a lot but I've got good response from my friends and my fellow bloggers.I thank all of them who supported me and guided me to do this challenge.I'm so exciting to see my friends recipies,who have joined this challenge.

                        I thought in this month of love we can start with sweet dish to impress our loved ones.My kids don't like to eat pears that much,So I think of making it delicious so that they can't resist to eat it.It really happened yesterday they ate all of them without any argument and gave me a kiss for the lovely dish from my loved ones.

5 ingredients for february challenge


                          Here is that wonderful recipe try this and make your loved ones happy...........................


Ingredients:

Pear-3,peeled and deseeded 

  brown sugar-1/3 cup

   water-2 tbsp  

 butter-1 tbsp 

 cinnamon stick-1/4 inch

whipped cream-2 tbsp  

For parline:

walnuts-1/4 cup

 sugar-1/4 + 3 tbsp  

To decorate:  

Cherries


Method: 

               Heat sugar with 1 tbsp water till it turns its color add crushed walnut and mix well to coat.pour them in a baking sheet or tray and allow them to cool.When cooled crush them in blender coarsely and store.You can store them in fridge for upto 6 months. 

To caramelise pear:

           Heat a non-stick pan add Butter to melt add brown sugar,water and cinnamon stick cook till sugar melts then place the pear upside down,Close lid and cook for 5 mins then flip them and cook for another 5 mins.Pour the sauce over the pear to coat well,close lid and cook for another 15 mins till the pear softens and cool them .

To assemble:

               In a plate place cooked pear and pour the sauce over them.Squeeze the whipped cream over the pear and sprinkle nuts parline and decorate with cherries.Now enjoy the treat.........................
